I have already accomplished a year of beauty school at Toni & Guy Academy in Shoreline and have taken my licenses test to become a cosmetologist. I love doing hair and want to obtain as much knowledge and skill to perfect my craft.

I am looking for models for specific haircuts to fulfill my requirements. I have plenty of dates and haircuts available from January until July each Tuesday. Please contact me if interested in future dates.

January 31st & February 7th
I need a model with naturally straight hair who is interested in a chin/lip length bob with a straight across fringe. I have attached a photo of what the cut will look like. If you are available either January 31st or Feb. 7th for this please email me.

Thank you very much!

The beauty of this art form, Ikebana, is its simplicity. It can be done anywhere, anytime, with anything you can find. The basic Sogetsu curriculum teaches you principles of space, balance, color to help you develop the artistic sense you’ll need to create freestyle arrangements on your own. So grab a pair of scissors and be prepared to be amazed by your own creativity.

If anyone has any information on stolen music gear; specifically an Open Labs DBeat, that was stolen last night in Fremont PLEASE contact me. The person to whom this gear belongs to has pretty much his entire musical life on this machine. This piece of equipment is very rare so if you hear of anyone trying to sell or trade something like it I'd be very certain it is the stolen gear. Thank you so much.

The landlord who owns that property might be unhappy to learn about the destruction of his property.

And it wouldn't hurt to put up a few flyers around the neighborhood about the tree vandalism along with a request to boycott Qazis. Less effort than picketing, and might help drive those bad tenants out of business. Plus, their food sucks.

Did the trees belong to the restaurant owners or to the city? If they're city trees, perhaps the city doesn't know yet. Isn't there a fine and/or imprisonment for maliciously harming city property?

I like trees. I like the big old ones a lot. You know, the kind that someone cuts down a couple of times a year in Fremont. The giant redwoods that went away to make way for the new building by the Red Door. The row of Lombardi Poplars along the ship canal cut by the army corps (have the cormerants come back yet?). The heritage tree in the alley up from the smoke shop that was butchered by a vindictive developer "getting even" with his neighbor for trying to protect such a beautiful tree. Each one has a story and, in each case, it's usually a "profits over neighborhood livibility" choice which someone made. Someone thought that this was thier choice and to hell with everyone else who lives here. So I guess I shouldn't be too surprised at the owners of Kwanji Thai and Qazis for surreptitiously girdling the beautiful redwoods in front of their respective places. Havn't seen it yet? Look at the one in front of Kwanji near the base. It's been cut all the way around with a sawzall severing the tree's cambian layer, presumably so that, in a year or two when it dies they can say, "Oh what a terrible thing to have happened! Well, I suppose it must come down now". Up until today I was feeling very proud of the Indian family that owns Quazi's. They were busy building thier new deck or what I've been calling the Quaz Majal. I thought they'd leared the lessons of what happens with deforestatation in their homeland and had respect for the beautiful tree that they were lucky enough to have right in thier front deck! It had so many possibilities; a stand up table around it, a little fun flight of spiral stairs up to a treehouse eating platform, to name a couple off of the top of my head. So today I was shocked and saddened when I saw that they had not only carved out so much of the base of the tree to fit thier new decking that there's nothing left to bring nutrition to the top, but had also painted the cut areas black so that no one would notice it! It's like both Kwanji and Quazi's are ashamed of what they're doing and are trying to hide it right out in plain sight. So now I'm here, feeling a familiar sense of outrage at things that can never be taken back. I know that I won't eat at either place again. I'd be too angry. You will, of course, make your own choices.
