This fall, Fremont Abbey Arts Center is offering SuperFoods, a pilot program hosting free classes and events to support healthy cooking and creative arts experiences for all:

SuperFoods features cooking classes with guest chefs emphasizing nutrient-rich “superfoods” like blueberries, spinach, kale, quinoa, chia seeds, and more. Parents learn how to create nutritious meals and snacks while kids learn dance and visual arts relating to good food and holistic health.

Classes run now through October 29th, and from November 5th to December 10th. Each class includes free food sampling and supplies. Most classes are on Monday nights with two sessions offered:

● 4-6:30pm FREE class for all ages (priority enrollment for single parents with kids)

● 7-9pm class for ages 21 and older with a $5-15 suggested donation per person
