Stop by Rialto ( 4307 Fremont Ave N) and you’ll be greeted by a sign on the door that says, unfortunately, that the Italian restaurant that’s been in Fremont since 2008 has closed.
No official word yet on why the restaurant has closed, though the sign does encourage folks to keep an eye on their website, which could mean there is a future for Rialto and owner Rudy La Valle.
Rialto began ten years before moving to Fremont, originally at 1400 N. 80th St., before taking over the space that previously housed Fremont Classic.
We’ll see if we can find out why exactly Rialto closed but in the meantime, pour some out for the pasta grill.

So incredibly sad. They had the best pasta I have ever had. I brought friends and family and they all loved it. I don’t know if anything will ever measure up. We always went there before our Shakespeare theatre nights and I always looked forward to it.

they had the best pasta. it was a great restraunt and i am very sad to see it close. if it reopens somewhere else i am definitely bringing all my friends there. thats where i had two of my birthday dinners with my birthmother. (yes i am adopted.) the thing i loved most wasn’t the food though. it was the the good service and the friendly neighbors.

This place was the best. I loved it at Green Lake now closed …. where do we go from here? They had the best food at the best prices.. I dont know where to go for a family style cozy dinner anymore.
