By Sean Keeley · June 13th, 2011 · No Comments

Moms, kids and cats…I hope you enjoy the Fremont Fair on Saturday because Sunday is all about Dads and dogs.

  • Dads & Dogs Day – PCC Grilling Competition, Sunday, June 19 from 1:00-2:15pm: PCC Natural Markets and Weber Grills are hosting a grilling competition on the PCC Waterfront Stage Sunday, June 19 from 1:00 to 2:15pm. Bring your dad down to the Fremont Fair for a chance to judge the competition and see which PCC Natural Markets chef prevails!
  • Dads & Dogs Day – Dog Parade, Sunday, June 19 at 2:30pm: You won’t want to miss this puppy parade, with support by Daily Ticket, and led by Tubaluba! Paralleling its human counter part- the Fremont Art Council’s Solstice Parade- fairgoers are invited to bring their four-legged friends on Sunday to participate in this fun pup precession, or simply puppy watch along the parade route. The parade starts on the West end of the Fair next to the Bike Corral. A $10 donation will get you a professional digital photo of you and your pup, a dog goodie bag, and a chance to win a sweet raffle prize with proceeds benefiting Solid Ground. Have Fido dress up or come al naturale!
