Break out your best bedlah, World Belly Dance Day will be here on May 14th.
Every 2nd Saturday in May, dancers all over the globe host events to celebrate World Belly Dance Day in an effort to support the artform and reach out to those who aren’t already shaking their hips.
Fremont’s own VDP Dance Studio (4128 Fremont Ave N) wants you to come join them on the 14th between 4 - 5:30pm for a bunch of events, meet-and-greets, discussions and, of course, dancing. Visitors can get a free sample lesson in belly dance, watch live dance performances as well as meet a collective of dancers who use belly dance as community service.
If belly dancing really has your interest peaked, Visionary Dance Studio is also offering a deal for 50% Off a Semi-Private Belly Dancing Class. Offer ends in three days so get dancin’!

About VDP Studio: We have been in Fremont for 7 years on the corner of Fremont Ave N and 42nd. Outside doesn;t look like much but inside it’s a beautiful space. It’s great for classes, workshops, theatrical events for small paries . We have theater lighting for performance and rolling mirrors . Come check us out and enjoy a fun afternoon. In celebration of WORLD BELLY DANCE DAY we will treat the neighborhood to a sample of a belly dance class, performances, lectures and snacks! Come meet our lovely staff! Cheers
