Break out your best bedlah, World Belly Dance Day will be here on May 14th.
Every 2nd Saturday in May, dancers all over the globe host events to celebrate World Belly Dance Day in an effort to support the artform and reach out to those who aren’t already shaking their hips.
Fremont’s own VDP Dance Studio (4128 Fremont Ave N) wants you to come join them on the 14th between 4 – 5:30pm for a bunch of events, meet-and-greets, discussions and, of course, dancing. Visitors can get a free sample lesson in belly dance, watch live dance performances as well as meet a collective of dancers who use belly dance as community service.
