Friday night, a woman was assaulted while walking on North 42nd Street and Fremont Avenue according to police.
The woman called 911 at about 10:45 p.m. She told responding officers that an unknown man approached her from behind and grabbed her before she screamed and ran off. Several patrol units responded to search the area, but the man was not found, police said. The victim described the perpetrator as a white man in his 50s wearing a white baseball cap and green jacket.
