Good Deal For A Fremont New Years Eve

By Sean Keeley · December 27th, 2010 · No Comments

Christmas is barely behind us but it’s already time to start thinking about New Year’s Eve, if you haven’t already. There’s a pretty good deal out today for those looking to get out to a fun party but who don’t want to leave the comfy confines of Fremont to do so.

The Bonza Bash New Year’s Eve 2011 Gala Ball begins at 8:30pm on December 31st at Fremont Studios and goes straight on past midnight into the new year. According to the site, it’s “the most exclusive and outrageously entertaining New Year’s Eve experience in the Pacific Northwest.” The outrageously entertaining part remains to be seen but I’m not too sure how “exclusive” it’s going to be considering the deal currently up on Groupon:

With today’s side deal, $37 gets you a ticket to Bonza Bash’s New Year’s Eve 2011 Gala Ball at Fremont Studios (a $74.43 value including 9.5% sales tax and a 5% admission tax). Hosted at a Seattle movie studio, this suit-or-cocktail-dress affair provides a sparkling start to next year. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, multiple full bars, and live music as you count down the moments until a new decade of Vh1 nostalgia specials begins. This year’s bash benefits Bridge of Promise, a Carnation-based nonprofit that provides educational opportunities for developmentally disabled individuals.

The event features an 18-piece big band, DJs, over $20,000 in prizes and giveaways and exclusive VIP offerings.

FYI, jeans, shirts without a collar and/or sneakers are all “expressly forbidden.” So if that’s your New Year’s Eve style, guess you’ll have to find another gala to enjoy. Then again, if that’s your style, you’re probably not going to any kind of event referred to as a gala.
