Cinco de Mayo revelers who plan on attending the Green Lake party: best if you walk, especially if you live in a neighborhood like ours, which is close enough to do so without too much of a stretch.

Cinco De Mayo Celebration to Close Street by Green Lake Tomorrow: Wednesday, May 5, Second Avenue NE will be closed between Woodlawn Avenue NE and E Green Lake Way N from 7 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. During the closure, a beer garden will be open for the Cinco de Mayo celebration being held at the Tacos Guaymas at Greenlake. A crowd of 850 is expected to show up for the festivities. Motorists should expect congestion in the area as a result of the street closure.
