  Good food, nice patio. Grumpy, no nonsense lady will take your order, but on the plus side, she won’t screw it up. Also, prices are reasonable and the food is hot.

  Tacos Guaymas in Fremont is the most “authentic” and best cooked of the Guaymas restaurants.

  The food is very very good, I’ve been eating here for almost 10 years, and am back every week or every month for a nice delicious, casual meal.

  At one point a couple of years ago they were going to tear it down to build condos. I’m sure as soon as the economy turns around that plan will be revived and we will lose the best Mexican food we have around here. That day will be a sad day.

  The only reason I put authentic in quotes is above is because I’m specifically referring to west coast style mexican food, in the San Francisco Mission burrito tradition. However, Guaymas as excellent tacos, tostadas and taco salads.
