The National Weather Service has issued an “excessive heat warning” through Thursday at 6 p.m. Forecasters are predicting 90+ degree heat through the first half of the week, peaking as high as 98 degrees on Wednesday.

We just stopped by the Fred Meyer on NW 45th St. and discovered plenty of big box fans still for sale for $22.99 each, but you can bet they won’t last long. There are also lots of air conditioners selling right now on Craigslist. So, what’s your strategy to keep cool during the heat wave?
