Catch a ride to ‘Freemont’

We saw this Metro bus on Market headed towards “Freemont.”

At the risk of turning into the neighborhood spelling police, that’s not the first time the county has misspelled the neighborhood.

Hey, the PCC in Fremont is misspelled in Visa's charging system, so every time I purchase something there, I see a “PCC**FREEMONT**” charge on my bill.

(Also, Lil Klippers in Wallingford is shown by Visa as Lil Kilppers, which sounds like a place to buy a certain kind of fish you might fry up for breakfast.)

That's such a pet peeve of mine. It usually tells me that they aren't from around here. Maybe they just aren't from Fremont.
