New restaurant and sports bar coming to 36th

By Geeky Swedes · June 11th, 2009 · Comments

A liquor license application from “LTD Bar & Grill” is posted in the window of the empty building on 36th St., just west of Phinney Ave.

We stopped by Sinners and Saints, the new bar next door, and they said a restaurant and sports bar will be moving in there soon.

We’ll keep you updated.

any word on if this bar is hiring staff...specifically servers...? my roommate and i have been walking by, trying to get an idea if they are. we'd love to work at a sports bar in our 'hood!

Anymore news on when this bar is set to open???...

    Hopefully soon!

Add a stripper bar and Fremont might be fun at last.

As long as they air Hockey games, I'm in.

    Go Wings!

From what I've seen Fremont doesn't actually have a sports bar. This might be good. A much better idea, IMHO, than a gangster bar. More decent beer taps, less theme martinis.

norms plays soccer, baseball, football basketball.

george and dragon plays soccer daily.

    azzuri plays soccer daily.

Yes... but I heard L.T.D will have more plasmas then any other bar in the area so everyone can watch the game from any seat - and the sound system will be off the hook! And they will have all the major sports games going --not just soccer like many Fremont bars. Finally the 1st TRUE sports bar in Fremont!

Fremont's continued rise as a nightlife center continues unabated.

Finally, a sports bar in Fremont! It's about time.

I can only assume this is a joke. Our neighborhood association needs to put a stop to all this bar business in Fremont. It was out of hand five years ago, but now it's getting beyond parody.

"Nine Million in Unmarked Bills" is definitely beyond parody.

    What a freakin' embarrassment.

On the bright side, I understand there will be a competing establishment opening up called "You're a Moron; That'll be $27.50+tip". Score one for truth in advertising.

I'm happy to see businesses filling up those buildings on the west end of 36th. But, I so wish S&S didn't have those tacky neons in the window :(
  • S&S
We had to put those neons up because people didn't know we were a bar, thought we were an art gallery....eventually we will remove all of the neon signs fromt he front after we become more established.
