  This is probably my favorite burger place in the world, and the fact that they are right here in Fremont only makes them all the better.

  AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

  I am sooooo pissed. My husband I and went here last night for burgers. Food was fine, nothing special, but satisfied our beef craving. I'm pregnant and due any day, so we thought it would be a nice time to get one last meal out of the house before the baby comes.

  So we go to Blue Moon for a casual ' last meal' celebration and they decide to STEAL MONEY FROM ME.

  My total was $17.__ and I tipped $2.00 - so a total of $19.__ that I signed for on my receipt. I was in the middle of a conversation with my husband, so I just waived that I didn't need a copy of the receipt.

  I go to check my bank balance this morning - and low and behold - because I didn't ask for a receipt they apparently thought it was ok to help themselves to a $4.00 tip instead of $2.00 - my total charged was $21.__.

  *This is not full service, I am not going to tip $4.00 on an under $20.00 ticket*

  Thanks Blue Moon - You just lost a customer for life for $2.00 - that's pretty f**king short sighted!!!!!!!! I am also going to post a one star review anywhere that reviews your Fremont store.

  I'm also over 9 Months pregnant - THANKS TOO FOR STEALING MONEY FROM MY UNBORN BABY!!!! ASSHOLES!

  They may have taken more than 15%, but you didn't even tip 15%. You both fail. Congratulations on the new baby.

  Dude, this place is fast food, but fancier. They take your order and then walk a burger out to you. I'm sorry, but when I have to waddle my 9 mo pregnant ass up to the fountain to get more water, a full service percentage tip is not the in establishment's cards.

  As the owner of this restaurant I would like to respond, this did not happen. Her bank card put an estimated gratuity on her card, when it cleared it was the correct total. She made a semi-retraction on Yelp, but still blames us in some way. She somehow believes that I have access to her account at any time. Once we batch at the end of the night we have no more to influence the speed or practices of a bank. So if anyone would like to remove this slanderous comment I would appreciate it.

  I love this place. The burgers are inventive and delicious and they serve some really great shakes/malts and beers. And I love that many of the ingredients are sourced locally.

  I also love the chain of comments above. Truly awesome. Thanks for the entertainment!

  Hee hee.. I agree.. pregnant women probably have the given right to get grumpy though. I truly doubt anyone deliberately stole money from anyone. It’s pretty easy to tell which employee was responsible with the computers restaurants use nowadays. If they thought they could get away with this they have probably done it more than once and I would imagine the owner would have found out about it by now, resulting most likely in termination. Having read the other comment about shakes, beers and good burgers I will be stopping in soon, sounds yummy.

  Best Burger in Seattle. Heck best burger I’ve found anywhere. I was so happy when you guys moved into the neighborhood. The burgers are for lack of a better work custom made.
